Ingredients:

Potatoes 3-4 (boiled), breadcrumbs 1 cup, cornflour 2 tbsp, onion chopped 2 tbsp, garlic paste 1 tsp, red chili powder 1 tsp, chili powder 1/2 tsp, coriander leaves 2 tbsp, salt to taste, cheese 2 tbsp (grated), toothpick or stick oil for lollipops and frying.

Method of Preparation:

First, the potato mixture should be prepared.  For that, mash the boiled potatoes well so that there are no grains.  Mix chopped onion, garlic paste, red chili powder, pepper powder, coriander leaves, cheese and salt and knead it well.  Now mix cornflour and some breadcrumbs to make a soft but firm mixture.

Then shape the lollipop.  Keep it in the palm of your hand and roll it into small balls.  If you want, you can make them like drumsticks or lollipops instead of balls.  Stick a stick between each ball or lollipop.  In a separate bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of cornflour and little water to make a thin batter.  On the other hand, spread the breadcrumbs on a plate.  Dip each potato lollipop first in the cornflour batter.  Then roll in breadcrumbs to form a nice crispy layer all around.

Now heat oil in a pan.  Then fry the lollipops on medium heat until golden brown.  Place on tissue paper to absorb excess oil.  Serve hot with tomato ketchup, chili sauce or garlic mayonnaise.  If you want, you can sprinkle a little chat masala on top for extra taste.  It is a favorite food of children.  And it would go well with tea for an evening snack.
