The name must have been heard by everyone.  Do you know where this recipe is from?
This recipe first started during the British Raj period.  So it can be called a British colonial recipe.  Dak means postal system.  Where news is delivered from different places.  The British officers of East India used to spend the night in this special post office.  For delivering important news.  They used to cook themselves.  It is a great recipe with eggs and chicken.  That’s why the name is Chicken Dak Bungalow.

Let’s see how to make the recipe.

Ingredients:

Chicken meat 400 grams
2-3 eggs
Potatoes 3-4 medium size
sour yogurt
1 large tomato
Whole garam masala
Whole cumin, coriander
cilantro
Ginger, garlic
Powdered hot spices
raw chili

Instructions:

First, boil the eggs and keep them aside.  Fry the cut potatoes and boiled eggs in oil with a little turmeric.
Then in a dry pan, add whole cumin seeds, coriander, whole garam masala, dry chillies to the amount of 3-4 cloves of garlic and shake them in a mixer to prepare fried spices.
Wash the meat properly and marinate it with ginger, garlic paste, salt, turmeric, cumin, coriander powder, fried spices, sour curd and mustard oil for one hour .Then put 3-4 spoons of oil in the pan and add bay leaves and whole cumin seeds.  Cut 3 onions and stir them.  Tomatoes should be added when onions are fried.  When the meat is marinated, stir it in.  Fried masala should also be given.  Rinse with warm water little by little.  Stir fried potatoes and boiled eggs when grated.  When it starts boiling add coriander leaves.  After keeping it covered for some time, give a little hot water.  Finally, mix the garam masala powder and keep it for some time and then serve. Then is ready chicken dak bungalow.
