Beef Biryani

Beef Biryani Recipe

Ingredients:

Beef – 1 kg
Ginger paste- 1 tbsp
Garlic paste- 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder- 1 tsp
Cumin powder- 2 tsp
Chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder- 1 tsp
Nutmeg-Jayatri powder- 1/4 tsp
Barista- 1/2 cup
Sour yogurt- 1/4 cup
Oil/Ghee- 1/2 cup
Whole Garam Masala – 4/5
Bay leaves – 2
Chilli- 10/12
Salt – to taste.

What you will need for biryani 
Polao rice- 3 cups
Milk- 1 cup
Water – 5 cups
Potatoes- 4/5
Cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, bay leaves – 2 each
Green chillies- 10-12
Sugar- 1 teaspoon
Salt – to taste

Instructions:

Mix the batter and powdered masala with little water and salt.  Wash the rice and drain the water.  Heat oil in a cooking pot.  Then add bay leaves and whole garam masala to boil.  Now mix it with masala.  When the masala is ground, grind it well with the meat.  Cover and cook for half an hour.  No need to add separate water.  Keep the stove low.  Cover occasionally by lifting the lid and shaking.  When the meat is cooked, cover it with beresta and kacha pepper for ten minutes.  Take it down now.
Peel the potatoes and fry until golden.  Then put the rice in the cooking pot with bay leaf and whole garam masala.  Fry it for a while and add salt, potatoes, milk and water.  Now increase the heat of the stove.  When the water boils, cook until the water and rice become equal.  Cover with a lid when the water reduces.  Reduce the heat of the stove.  Cook like this for fifteen minutes.  Then take half the Polao and spread the cooked meat and fried potatoes evenly on it and spread it with the remaining Polao.  Top with little sugar, lemon juice, food color and onion and cook for another 15-20 minutes.  Then take down and serve the beef biryani hot.
